iPhone 5s Leaked: New specs with photos show that this will be the biggest ‘S’ upgrade to date.

It's that time of year again when Apple gets ready to release the S series of the current generation iPhone. And like every year, there are leaks that are speculated about the device with little bits and pieces of information trickling out online. A Weibo user has claimed insider of C Technology may have revealed full specs for the upcoming iPhone 5S along with images of the devices case seemingly taken from inside Foxconn's factory.

About the leaked details about the iPhone 5S specs, it has been said that this will be the biggest hardware upgrade ever for an 'S' device if the claims are correct. Some of the highlights include a 4-inch IGZO display with the same Retina resolution as the iPhone 5, an A7 processor clocked a bit faster than the current 5 model, quad-core SGX 554MP4 graphics, 2GB of RAM and an upgraded LTE radio.

MacRumors stated that the A7 chip is really just a modified version of the A6 with a new model number, APL0698. According to MacRumors:

The original A6 chip carried a model number of APL0598, with the A6X found in the fourth-generation iPad carrying an APL5598 model number, demonstrating how Apple varies the first digit for members of a given A-series family and increments the second digit when transitioning to a new family.

However, other markings on the chip tells us that this is an upgrade, it appears that the chip will still be getting the same 1 GB of Elpida DRAM on the A7.

Where the new hardware is concerned, there has been reports that have claimed that the 5S will include an upgraded 12-megapixel camera, a duel-LED flash, NFC and a fingerprint scanner. Skeptics has disproved a early rumor that had suggested an fingerprint scanner that would be included in the new iPhone. There also has been numerous reports including one from Reuters suggesting that Apple will finally make use of the AuthenTec acquisitionin the iPhone 5S.

Thankfully these images seem to have confirmed that the next generation battery is slightly bigger then what we have from the 5. Now we're able to take more time on our decisions while playing Candy Rush!

These new hardware upgrades in the upcoming iPhone 5S are unconfirmed, of course. With all these leaked information and photos, it is possible that some of these things have been altered with and will not be included in the new device.
