Following the recent $100 price cut on Microsoft Surface RT model, it appears that the Pro version is ready for its own deduction. Right now, Microsoft if offering the Surface Pro for $100 off in U.S, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The 64GB model is priced at $799.99 USD while the 128GB version is selling for $899.99 USD. The Surface Pro bundle would cost you $309.99 USD, which is about 35% off its regular price and it includes the following – Office Home and Student 2013, 2-year warranty, Type Cover, INCIPIO surface Sleeve and the Surface pro screen Protector.
It appears that Microsoft is trying to salvage the Surface Pro tablet by making it cheaper for consumers to obtain. There were reports that Microsoft received a loss of $900 million in the Surface department after its 4th-quarter.
According to a Microsoft Spokesman,
"We've been seeing great world-wide success with Surface RT pricing and keyboard-cover promotions over the past several months and are proud to offer Surface Pro at more affordable prices,"
