Usually consider the 808; Nokia's company has been shipping phones to market where the platform was still significant. So Nokia pointed long development of Symbian as one of the reason to freeze their production. Symbian product takes 22 months to bring in a market according to the manufacturer, and also compared it to take round about a year for a Window Phone handset.

So here is also the reason of the sold phones because if we see that the Symbian smartphones moved only 500,000 in Q1 year, but greatly in the same period Lumia devices sold round about 5.6 million. So now Nokia is focusing on Windows Phone for its smartphones. So their successes only depend on the Microsoft-Operating system. So they are taking huge interest to doing their best as well.
