Apple Unveils New Version Of iOS 7, Mac OS X At WWDC

After the month of complete silence, Cupertino is primed to release some big detail about the future of its products at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). That Apple is expected to announce new versions of both its desktop OS, OS X, but we are hope so that we will see much more announced publically. Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off his company's WWDC in San Francisco with a short video emphasizing the importance of design, huge numbers of developers attend this annual event. Apple also uses its WWDC to unveil new products of services, attracting sizable interest from tech press.

This time around, the company introduced Mac OS X 'Mavericks,' which includes 'Finder Tabs' (which allow the user to deploy multiple tabs within a Finder window—great for organization, in theory) and document tags (for easier searching). Macs will now support multiple displays, including HDTVs, with the ability to tweak elements between screens; Apple claims the operating system will also interact with the CPU in a more efficient manner

The new version of Apple iOS7 is rumored to feature a flatter design and the OS will apparently have its first major re-design, so the design has been led by Apple's Jonny Ive. So the new Apple iOS7, OS X, we are expecting that Apple announce the new iPhone 5S, a new iPod Touch, and new iMac's, plus a new MacBook Air and a MacBook Pro, we should have more details later today.

The beta of iOS 7 will be available for iPhone 4 and up, iPad 2 and up, iPad Mini, and the fifth-generation iPod Touch in the coming weeks. The final version is coming soon.

So the popular Apple rumor mill has everything from iRadio to the iWatch to the iPad 5 launching today, but that is what we are thinking. So in this developer conference that we are expected the vast majority of the announcements to be directly related to new software an APIs. So we can expect that to be small-scale like a Haswell Mac Book refresh. So we are expecting that Apple will also have some surprise at WWDC.
